Hey guys - I just wanted to add a little to this post.

Keith's board was actually 3D Scanned twice - using different handheld 3D scanners and technologies. If you look carefully at the pics Keith posted, you'll see me holding two different Creaform scanners; a HandyScan Black Elite (Laser) and a Go ...

After the video, I thought I must have these scanner also, but after looking at the price tag.....

I think we're suckin diesel now... For whatever reason, only the Reset device showed up and nothing under USB devices. Now I got it showing up as a USB Serial Device on com 11...popped in the parameter and it's lit up.

Thanks for the moral support... I can't explain how it mysteriously showed up ...

That's just it though...I'm not getting a com port number in the device manager...therefore - I can't set the parameter.

Wondering if I got a beat one or what...

Not getting plug & play behavior on my PC...shows up as "Reset" under other devices & tells me there's no compatible drivers for this device.

Can anyone hook me up with a driver I can point it to? Thought v5.09R2 would install it for Acorn SIX.

I've tried uninstalling the device hoping Windows ...

Posting for reference...GS23-25P0 w/40Ω,400W Braking Resistor GS-BR-400W040, Running 5hp ATC @ 400Hz.

3 DIP switches, L, R, R; NPN, 0-10v,0-10v

Wiring:
R1C = Acorn Input Common (VFD Fault)
R1 = Acorn Input (VFD Fault)
FWD = Acorn Spindle Relay "Output"
DCM = Acorn Spindle Relay Common
ACM ...

Just following up. I bought this unit for around $10 and it's got nice thin, sharp lines when 6 to 10" above the table. In case anyone else is interested in one...10mm dia 30mm long; 3-5vdc.

Hey fellers...I'm looking for a halfway decent XY/Crosshair laser module to put on my router. Do you guys have any suggested models/brands that you're happy with? I'd rather not shotgun it and try a handful of cheap ones...also not looking to drop $300 on a fancy industrial one. What sayeth thee ...

The reason I asked is that I wanted to bring my computer in to the house and be able to print out my info and figure out what each button is associated with
