Re: Removing an Acorn from a lathe and installing in a mill
Thank you for that. The problem I finally discovered was the wpcap.ddl file missing. I had tried uninstalling everything a few times and reinstalling clean. After I found the wpcap.ddl file on the internet it was less than a second to install and everything works great. Somehow along the way it got ...

Re: Removing an Acorn from a lathe and installing in a mill
It seems there is something that has to do with original computer that will not let it run correctly. I hooked up the old computer that used to run it and it runs fine. I bought a new computer with windows 10 with all the correct features, I5 processor, faster threading than needed, touch screen and ...

Removing an Acorn from a lathe and installing in a mill <answered>
I had an Acorn CNC Pro lathe setup and now I sold the lathe without the CNC setup and want to put it onto a PM25MV Mill. Is there anything I have to do to the Acorn to have it run on the mill now? Like remove and reinstall Mill firmware or will it do it automatically when I download the new CNC12 ...

Re: Received my new MPG today
So laying in bed last night I was trying to figure it out, I had the DRO display working but no control, rotary switch on X and jog at 100 so all that was good. I had started and restarted CNC12 a couple times, the computer too, then I thought maybe the computer could not handle all the usb inputs I ...

Received my new MPG today
Hi Guys,
Well got my hand held controller today from Centroid and set it up in wizard (CWP-4) and I get the read out but nothing works. No jog, none of the keys.
I tried to turn MPG on the screen but it won't go red in the corner. Any ideas? Tried rebooting both the Acorn and windows and no change ...

Cheap CNCPC that meets requirements: Lenovo Think Center M92P for Acorn <updated model M93P>
OK everyone, I just tried the Lenovo M92P mini computer that someone else advised about getting. It was $189.00 and free shipping so I gave it a shot.

Acorn install on YCL 1236 Lathe
I'm changing over my YCL 1236 CNC Lathe conversion to the Acorn. Here's a few pics. Encoder mount seems to work fine but encoder won't be here until tomorrow so waiting game on that. I have a plastic gear on it until I can find one that has a flange. It seems these size pulleys don't have flanges. I ...
