Bingo ! thank you! That was it.

Re: lathe post processor issue ( tool offsets not applied from fusion 360 post processor ? )

Lathe tool offsets do not use "H__". Instead, in lathe G codes, the second two digits of the tool number specifies the offsets to use. For example: T1200 ; load tool #12, but use no offsets T1212 ; load tool #12, and activate offsets #12 The problem in your program is that for each tool c...

Re: lathe post processor issue ( tool offsets not applied from fusion 360 post processor ? )

What is missing ist the H(toolnumber) for the tools to let Acorn know the offsets. But from my POV you are way faster for an easy part like this to use Intercon instead of fusion ;) Regards Uwe So, should I poke around Fusion 360 to see if it will output the H(toolnumber) by clicking the right chec...

lathe post processor issue ( tool offsets not applied from fusion 360 post processor ? )**SOLVED**

Hi, I'm fairly new to centroid lathe tool offsets so I thought my issue outputting lathe cam from fusion 360, but *not* applying tool offsets, was that I didn't understand how to create offsets properly within Centroid. However, I used intercon yesterday to create a multi tool program and it worked ...

Centroid rocks ! Kudos !!!

Few things in life are as reliable as Centroid. Every once in a while you just have to acknowledge something really good. Kudos guys.

( any small hiccups due to new software releases have been addressed very quickly, imho )

Re: VFD Voltage/RPM fluctuating

I considered creating a new thread about my issues and eventual solutions on this same topic ( RPM fluctuating due to noise in the Acorn analog output wire causing voltage fluctuation at the VFD ) but it made more sense to add to this thread . Most of the solutions are outlined already in this threa...

Re: Integrating Sunfar E550 with Acorn PLC

I just edited my post because I only did the first half of what the GS4-2020 manual suggests. I did not use a ferrite ring and capacitor. I meant to, but things have been working fine, although I have had a couple odd app crashes that may be due to EFI from the new VFD being physically close to my ...
