Wow, thanks Russ - really appreciate you taking that time out for the directions - cheers. Just one thing that I still maybe reading wrong. I think the manual says that the common port on the kinco for the X multi function connections is PLC rather than COM? Or am I reading it wrongly (again!)

Can anyone help with the control side of the connections to this VFD - I'm fairly stumped with it. The motor and power supply wires are fairly straight forward but the 1-10 volt, forward reverse and stop have me beaten right now. Manual attached.....VFD ninja required!

Its just a shame you have to have Alt J up to use the xbox controller, is there any way around this?

I'm using wood first to finalise the positioning etc. Then I overlay the wood onto the metal and mark all the holes and have one big drilling session!

I looked at this Keith, however that driver is slightly different to mine. It does'nt have the PEND connections and has some that mine doesn't.
I'll find it in the blurb eventually...

I'm just doing a build with these nema 34 8Nm hybrids. And have them running but not really sure on how to connect/use the enable,alarm and pend connections? I noticed franco's were not connected on one of his videos. To be honest I don't even know what the PEND connections are? The alarm and enable...

yup, this is my 5th build and the silly mistakes are still made! No magic smoke though - thankfully.

Thanks for the reply, i've solved it now. Silly error - the neutral for the 5volt supply was in the wrong place! Fool, no harm done though
