O i see, you may have to add a relay to that ssr output if it is outputting 50volts so you dont fry the acorn, Im not to familiar with that probe, im running a omp 400 and a omi-2h eye.

Just looked at the ml-12 user guide, you may have to mess with the wiring to get that unit to work with the acorn, if you look at the schematic for the tt-1 probe from centroid it shows a signal and probe detect, i use a switch for my probe detect when i put in in the spindle so it locks it out from...

Depends witch optical eye you have, they usually need to be powered 24 volt, then with the acorn you us the ssr set to nc in the eye to break a wire to the acorn probe input and common on the schematic from centroid.
