Re: Wizard Setup of HY VFD not successful
Yep, had the line under the output. That fixed it. Thanks! Cool, now upgrade to 4.62... My suggestion is to take screen shots of all your Wizard pages. Then rename the current CNCM directory to CNCM - OLD Do a fresh install of 4.62 Then hand copy in your machine settings to 4.62. This way you will ...

Re: Wizard Setup of HY VFD not successful
make SURE you don't have a LINE under the output. That effectively disables the output.
Press Ctrl Alt F to get rid of it if its there.

Re: External cycle start/stop bottons
There is an input you can assign to do that. I believe it is Cyclestart2. There is also a CycleCancel2 if you want a second foot pedal switch for that.

Re: ATRUMP E216 Mill Conversion
Centroid has an AC/DC servo drive. I believe that's what you are referencing.
I'm interested to hear how you get along with your build Jules.

Re: ATRUMP E216 Mill Conversion
I do not know of a specific "Atrump" schematic. Even if there were, it would not necessarily have the same wire numbers as what the MIRL installation used. You just need a schematic that shows the usual components of a typical late-model Taiwanese mill with an umbrella-type ATC. Is there ...

Re: ATRUMP E216 Mill Conversion
You shouldn't have too much trouble with the ATC, as many of the default assumptions in Centroid's "standard" umbrella-ATC PLC program and macros were made based on machines just like yours. Marc, I didn't find a schematic for an OAK/Yaskawa Atrump system but did find one for AIO DC. Coul...

Re: Is an oscilloscope necessary?
Agree with Gary, if you are building systems, worth having and not terribly expensive. Also agree, if you don't have or now how to use a quality DVM (Fluke for me!) Amazon: Hantek DSO5072P Digital Oscilloscope, 70 MHz Bandwidth, 1 GSa/s, 7.0" Display by SELECTED INSTRUMENTS Learn more: https://...
