Re: Axis motion after electronics moved to new enclosure
The machine has a Left Y axes and a Right Y axes that are paired. When I push Y- on the VCP, the right and left Y axis moves in the correct direction (Y-) together. When I push Y+ on the VCP, the right axis moves in the correct direction (Y+) but the left moves in the Y- direction. The X and Z axis...

Re: Introduction video to using Notepad ++ and the NCnetic G code editing plugin.

If Notepad++ is installed on a different drive, the PC Tuner is unable to located the installation. Otherwise the NCnetic plugin is very n...

Re: Dxf
no. you can use the cad system to break up the poly radius arcs into either 1.) small lines, 2.) real arcs. if you want to use Intercon. otherwise use a CAD/CAM system. i would recommend Vectric Cut 2D for this kind of work, it is similar to Intercon in many regards but, is CAD based and will accept...

CNC12 Router Restructure Beta Software thread.
We've been working on tailoring CNC12 Router to better fit a typical CNC Router Operators work flow. This 'remodel' of CNC12 Router will be released initially as CNC12 v5.18 for Acorn only. The remodel largely consists of restructuring the CNC12 menus for Router work and adding many new built-in can...

Re: Kitamura Mycenter Zero - DELTA Ethercat Retrofit
good to hear. They use it in automotive for a reason i suspect. The bad thing is it can't transfer as much torque as an equivalent "normal belt", s you might need a wider one to accommodate for it. Good that mine has room for a 60mm belt. From the quick data i could find, that should be g...

Re: Will Hickory ever support third party I/O?
its possible, but right now we are not working on it. first step would be to identify a couple of good units and get a few in for evaluation to see what is possible. keep in mind third party support for any component adds complexity and support issues (whos fault is it?? ) and we always end up havin...
