you can use any tool as the reference tool. I use tool 1.
tool 1 is not longer or shorter than itself.. so the offset values are zero for tool 1

you got it for X.... but still mixing francos method on Z...so... just do the same for Z as you did for X, skim cut or touch with tool one, set Z part zero, set Tool#1 Z offset to zero, set reference position. now go touch another tool to the same spot, the extra distance the new tool had to move to...
