Re: Quick Tip "Tool check for more than just checking your tool"
thanks for posting the tip and video! i use tool check all the time..very useful feature. fyi.. when you press cycle start (two times) to restart, cnc12 restarts at the beginning of the line of G code that it was currently executing when tool check was pressed. this is nice.. so tool is guaranteed t...

Re: Acorn standard connections diagram
Jason,
please reference the Acorn Gecko G201 Schematic #S14809 as a guide for drives that require 5VDC.
the Acorn Leadshine schematic #S14851 is another example of 5vdc drive voltage hookup

Re: Acorn lathe?
Hello. I have a Lathe RC (release candidate) Acorn CNC12 software that will become the official public release soon. If anyone is waiting on Acorn Lathe software and has the Acorn wired up and bench tested, has an internet connection at the CNCPC with teamviewer installed and has some way to communi...

Re: Limit/home switches
However, I haven't found if there is some means of limiting travel when jogging the machine so as not to exceed the limits on the side without the limit switch. Thanks, Scot Scot, Hello. CNC12 software travel limits WILL stop you from Jogging into either travel limit. software travel limits will st...

Re: USB MPG

finalizing USB MPG is next on the list.. we have it running quite well on the bench and we just signed up two Beta testers for USB MPG. so its in the final stages.

Re: Fourth axis and power problem (resolved with photos)
Axis pairing was not setup properly...we set up access pairing using the wizard. (and we have made it easier to set up pairing with less chance of mistakes in the latest version about the release) and for some reason the 5 volt dc gecko drive power supply turning on at the same time as the 24-volt l...
