Thanks Marc. That's great news! I really hope they keep making the Route 66 kit.

Don't hold your breath on Servo Products. They have been saying for 5 years now that they were going to continue the Elrod products. My guess is they sold off the existing stock of parts he had and dropped it.

You'll need thread specs for the thread:

Re: Recommendations for PC to run p.m. 940 conversion

I personally feel it's even more important on an open-loop control like the Acorn(6). If you loose steps for any reason, soft limits no longer work. You need a G43 or G44 followed by Hnn where nn is the height offset you want to us. There are two reasons why this is not automatic. First is it a positive offset (G43) or a negative offset (G44)? Second, height offset numbers do not have to be the same as the tool number. I can have T1H1, or T1H2, ...

Re: Struggling with lathe tool auto touch off

In the tool table for your probe tool, what do you have the probe diameter set to? It sounds like you have this set to zero instead of the probe diameter. You should not have to add or subtract anything when setting a tool to either side of the probe.

Do you have the Pro or Ultimate license installed? Software axis pairing does not work on the Free version.

Just copy the YouTube URL link into the message and it will be automatically embedded. Couldn't be simpler.
