The best terminal block are ones from a name manufacturer like Weidmuller, Wago, Phoenix, Enterlec, TE Connectivity, etc., in any flavor of your liking. They all work great so it's just a matter or personal preference.
The $2.50 per 100 from alibaba are not even worth looking at.

Re: acorn board wont power up
You will probably need to return the original acorn board that is damaged to Centroid. Since the license file is tied to the Acorn board itself and not the BeagleBone, Centroid will need confirmation that the original board is destroyed/rendered inoperative before they will transfer the license to a...

Re: Software enhancements request
It probably has not been implemented yet because Centroid controls circa 2000 have historically had only one feed rate control knob.

Re: 3.3v Limit Switches and Pump on Gas Laser
Acorn does not use 3.3v so you will need another power supply or a DC-DC converter to generate it. However, there is a reason that industrial tools usually use 24VDC or 24VAC for signalling. There is a significant amount if electrical noise in machine tools and 3.3V is below the "noise floor&qu...

Once you get to the configuration screen, you actually change between inch and mm by hitting the spacebar. Change both as Keith said.

Re: z AXIS ISSUE
Restoring the report you uploaded this morning will undo changes made to CNC12. If you made any changes to the motor drivers, it will not be able to reverse them.

Re: Cincinnati Arrow 750 VMC Retrofit
For much the same reason as Marc, I shortened the legs on the Oak aluminum frame, and mounted the power supply on the Oak cover so the terminals would be accessible.

Re: z AXIS ISSUE
everything in that report was over the span of one hour this morning. There was no historical data to help diagnose the problem, although I do see the Z axis working correctly for homing so it does appear to work under program control. As to why it's not working, the only thing that I notice is that...

Re: Encoder Error
Have you verified that the encoders are counting in the correct direction for the other axis? You may need to reverse the encode phasing on those axis.

Re: z AXIS ISSUE
It would help greatly if you could post a recent report from your machine as well as a copy of the program that causes your Z axis to stall and fail to move. Without those things, we are just guessing at what your problems might be. If my machine were moving manually but not under program control, t...
