Acorn upgrade to pro turnaround time
Hi there, just ordered pro upgrade on Sun, because I need it for my first paid gig... yay. But just curious how long before I get a license code? I did email my receipt and report.zip as instructed. Does it take a few days? Week? just want to let my customer know when I can get started.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Wizard Setup of HY VFD not successful
Moved this, sorry had it wrong channel before. I ran the setup wizard to configure a simple control for HUAN YANG VFD as per schematic. The relay board is working fine, I can manually turn VFD on and OFF with the Alt-I inspection screen, but when i try the Spindle start button, the relay will not cl...

Re: Re: Monarch 10EE retrofit. Just finished the spindle encoder mount.
wow, i am jealous. I have a 10ee that i rebuilt because the dc dive was shot, but i just have open loop vfd, haven't been able to get the vector control working... so was thinking of encoder feedback. I like your solution. I think the guy i bought it from would weep if I did what you did, as he trie...

Re: Acorn and ALLIN1DC on same CNCPC
Aggrivation waiting to happen in my opinion. The PC requirements aren't that bad, I would just buy another PC for the new machine. You can by very compact PC's and mount them on the back of the monitors using VESA mounts. Surely its your choice. Marty I agree its at minimum a hassle. I just spent a...

Check out my post here: https://www.centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=3874&p=30969&hilit=swissi+directory#p30969 It will give you some ideas how to do it. There's also a directory "C:\intercon" and I don't know if the content of that directory differs between Acorn and...

Re: Acorn and ALLIN1DC on same CNCPC
I thought of a clunky workaround... move the version i am not using to a new directory, then move the one i want to execute to cncm... hopefully there is a more elegant solution...

Acorn and ALLIN1DC on same CNCPC
Hi, So I have a new CNCPC that I got up and running for my ALLIN1DC. I have CNC12 working for it. I also just purchased an Acorn to make a CNC woodworking router table with. I have the PC on a cart and wanted to use the same PC for both setups. I noticed on install of Acorn it won't let me choose a ...

Re: When upgraded from CNC11 to CNC12, no power to servos
I have a VFD powering the spindle, but am using air to control the speed, and I don't have it wired up in the plc to control it from code, so I have to manually adjust speed... What kind of VFD? Sensorless Vector like an Automation Direct GS3? I think I would almost fix the pulleys in the head and ...
