Reference tool- New heights- Is there a RefTool reset?
:? I know this should be easy-breezy - but I'm trying. Tool height offsets time again! I am off to my projects next part. Two cutters. diff heights. Do I need to reset the Ref Tool to 0000 first? Put everything to 0's on any tool - F10 and then do it my readings on the Ref tool & new cutt...

No So Fast: DolphinCam with Centroid & tool height offsets P
Yeah- So I ran the next part w/ this PPR and two tools. tool 1 ran fine. Tool 2 then crashed? I'm super confused. I'll post back after I figure this out on some scrap rather than a mounted part.
What sucks- This ran FINE on the first part w/ 4 tools and a knee move. I'm baffled!

Centroid & tool height offsets PPR- study time.
While pretty new to all this- I am pulling my hair out with DolphinCam 13.5, a multi-tool part, and Centroid tool height offsets. After 4 hours today literally pulling my hair out- I took to the tool height offsets out- And the Tool heights were fine. So I figured the post processor was doing someth...

Moving Y- Limit to increse travel. What tasks follow in OS?
Good Friday morning gang, I've determined my Y travel is about 8.75" and I need my full 9.25". Knee Mill. YMC30. New controller. (2015) It looks like I get there by sliding the limit switch down. I have 1/2" there easy for Y- travel extension. Once I move the limit - Don't I need to r...

Re: Newb check in. Drilling and Milling Q.
Thanks guys! Good info. I appreciate the quick responses too. :D I think a scale on the knee would be a really nice touch and end up being really functional. Great idea. I'm interested in the WCS part of Keiths post. That seems a creative way to also help make it "quick". With a Knee Scale...

Newb check in. Drilling and Milling Q.
In the images from this Site: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/dolphin-cadcam/284568-quick-tip-using-repeat-function-proper-end.html#post1773760 I have a new controller- I have been using and LOVING your setup. Now, I've learned about tool length offsets I think. This Q. is when you have drilling ops a...

That is AMAZING!!! Very sweet ride you have there. Also, Thanks for the deskew write up! With me - I never want to go back to my Mach3 setup anymore!
Can you tell me what type of High speed Spindle you have there. The orange cap part in one of the pics I believe.

Re: Depth setups in Z? Newb w/ a fowler Z depth height
Yeah - I'm touching off every single time. I figured since the knee was not constant, I was not sure how to really make all that part work. Just rushing and repeating rather than learning more. I'll get back on that horse as my way sucks. ;-) I have a knee mill so I need to finish watching that Vide...
