Vcp not communicating with oak board
Hi, my system has been working perfectly but I haven’t fired it up in quite a few weeks as I’ve been busy with other stuff. On switching on today when pressing cycle start to home the axis nothing happens. On checking there is no 24v on the output of the estop from the oak board so the servos aren’t...

Many thanks.

Sensor issue with Lube pump (Resolved)
Hi, just setting up the lube pump on my lathe and have run across a small issue with connecting the lube pump sensor. Before i connect the sensor wire to terminal 9 i can measure 23v between common and the return sensor wire. When i connect to terminal 9 this drops to 4.3v . If i bring up the IO scre...

Re: Intermittent differential encoder error on x axis only
Hi , swapped the interface cables over as suggested and it has run with no hiccups all morning. I can only think that there was a dodgy connection somewhere and swapping them over has corrected this. It’s possible it may happen again but at least I have a better idea of where to look. Many thanks as...

Re: Intermittent differential encoder error on x axis only
Hi, yes this is the Mitsubishi mr-j2s system. It seems to be okay for a few minutes then the fault occurs which is why I’m very confused . It’s almost as if once it’s warmed up the signal requirements are no longer met ,but only on the x axis , I’ve had no issues yet with Z but as I say I haven’t be...

Intermittent differential encoder error on x axis only (Resolved)
There i was thinking everything was ready to go and hey, another issue pops up. I thought i'd try the lathe out initially in manual mode using my newly operational handwheels. Everything works fine for about 5 minutes or so and then everything shuts down with an X axis differential encoder error mes...

Re: Still struggling to get hand wheels operational.
Soory guys but still struggling with this. Have altered the Centroid Lathe-Standard-Oak-r4.src file and the MPU.plc file to match but still no joy. I believe the software brings up an alert when a change is made to the program but i don't see that so i assume i haven't made the changes correctly. i ...

Re: Still struggling to get hand wheels operational.
Hi, er no I didn’t. Is it simply a matter of removing the standard oak src file and pasting in the revised one.
Many thanks
