You need to change the drive mapping parameters (300-307). When you connected the DC1, the DC1 became Drive 1, so the parameters need to be changed accordingly. (300 = 2, 301 = 3, 302 = 4, 303 = 1)

Yes, the spindle encoder pinout is the same as the pinout for the axis encoders. If you check the operators manual under parameters 34 and 35 you will see a description for setting up the spindle encoder. Setting parameter 179 to 3020 will cause the lube output to turn on for 20 seconds every 30 minutes. If you want to test the output, set 179 to 0, this will cause the output to turn on and stay on as soon as you enter MDI or start a program.
