Re: Keyboard control
CPU7 and CPU10 are equivalent in almost all cases as far as processing power. There were 3 different DSPs with some speed changes, but that rarely comes in to play on 4 or less axis systems. My guess is that the compact motherboard/CPU in your M15 is slower than the M400 PC. Smoothing was not availa...

Re: VFD Voltage/RPM fluctuating
There is no problem with the analog output under normal circumstances. The output is an opamp. The most basic form of the circuit has worked well on hundreds of Centroid products over the years. It looks like this: 1.jpg The problems occur from external non-resistive loads or electrical disturbances...

Re: Keyboard control
Smoothing can require a lot of calculations before the run. Without a high end motherboard/CPU, the time may be significant.

Re: Keyboard control
Are you testing with the same G-code program?
Is the program running from the local disk in both cases?
Both take 2 presses, but the M400 has a long delay, correct?

Re: Reusing Anilam snubbers & capacitor?
I’m sure I do I just don’t know what I’m looking for and the same would be true for in rush protection, again I don’t know my electrical components well enough To know what I am looking for. Call I could post some more pictures if somebody thinks they can help me identify the rectifier, I just thou...

Re: VFD Voltage/RPM fluctuating
Adding too much capacitance to opamp outputs can also cause stability problems. I would try 0.1uF or less. A low value resistor (10 to 50 ohm) in series between ACORN and the capacitor can also prevent oscillation from too much capacitance.

Re: Reusing Anilam snubbers & capacitor?
That is meant to bolt on top of Centroid's capacitor. Since yours looks like a smaller diameter, it will probably be a hassle to hook up.
