Re: Analog inputs needed

If you are using the Ajax controller you should have a fully freed up parallel port you could use for IO in Mach. The Ajax techs would need to respond in respect to how having an additional Modbus device would affect the MPU11. I know the MPU11 does use some modbus addresses in communication with ma...

CNC11 Homing with single limit switch

My X and Y axis each have a single limit switch which has been wired in series to the plus and minus limit inputs for that axis. How would one go about homing an axis with a single limit switch? It looks like M92 in mach3 defeats the limit when it needs to jog in the opposite direction, but CNC11 do...

Re: Touch off plate (zero Z)

So if I understand you correctly, there is no way the LED will light up. So all the testing I have done was a waste of time looking for it to indicate a closed circuit. That was my experience. G31 was very unstable and would stop due to the tiny bit of current bleeding through the resistor and LED....

Re: Touch off plate (zero Z)

I have the probe working with Ajax in Mach, you just have to customize any programs you may pick up from the Mach community. Ajax does something different with G31 and does not execute the internal Mach code--this includes activating the mach led. So no the Probe LED will not light up. Instead you n...

Re: CNC11 (45day Demo) and Probing

Probing routines are working now in CNC11. Some details for those who may come behind. Wildhorse-Innovations Econo-Probe wired to Pins 5 & 6 (remove the resister and LED on this probe, CNC11 and the MPU11 will indicate false probe contact otherwise.) Parameter 11 = -50769 (this probe opens on co...

Re: CNC11 (45day Demo) and Probing

CNCSNW thank you for the info. I'll check parameter 18 and give that a go. I'll also use the M115/116 codes instead of G31. I keep bouncing back and forth between Mach and CNC11 and wrongly assumed G31 would respond the same.

CNC11 (45day Demo) and Probing

I noticed while evaluating some simple probing in CNC11 v3.0.4 that it does not play nicely with my mechanical probe. It appears to be working in some aspects but but not in others, so I am curious if probing in demo mode may be crippled in some fashion. I have confirmed that the probe is correctly ...

Re: Centroid CNC11 Servo Auto Tune

Ahh that would explain it. No short cuts to tuning I guess. Thank you all for the help.

Re: Centroid CNC11 Servo Auto Tune

bakeng and ajaxliviu, Thank you. My servos and drives are 1KW Teco reproductions of Yaskawa Sigma II line. I have not performed any software tuning of the drives aside from applying the general Yaskawa settings used on other Centroid system. (lots of googling, and scouring of Tech Bulletins) I have ...

Re: Centroid CNC11 Servo Auto Tune

I too would be interested in tuning AutoTune.
My servos are more capable then my machine and power will allow so autotune triggers over over voltage faults when it really kicks in.

Any ability to tune the max values it uses would be nice.
