Re: 452 Ethernet Communication Error, CNCPC to Controller - Help!

Marty advised you over 3 years back in June 2021 as follows: I just looked at your error logs. You have multiple PC MPU Resends. You need to try and find the issue to these: (1) 06-16-2021 16:14:22 199 CNC Started (1) 06-16-2021 16:14:34 CNC12 Acorn Router v4.64 etc etc etc (1) 06-16-2021 16:54:07 C...

Re: New Build LMS 3990 Hi Torque Mini Mill

Euchner mechanical specifically N01K550-M which I use on both Mill and Lathe. This has a tip accuracy of 30 microns for the ball tip variant or 20 microns if you prefer the chisel tip. More importantly, the repeatability is excellent and I have had no problem using Home for tool-setting They also ha...

Re: Centroid enclosure screen

I run 2 monitors when using my Lathe for this very reason - No problem as long as your CNC PC supports dual monitors in mirror mode

It would help everyone understand if you posted Intercon file [filename].icn from your c:\intercon folder as well as a current report.zip

Re: Strange behavior after turning off my centroid

Another solution might be to install a counter weight or gas strut to balance the weight of the spindle head

Re: TT-4 Touch Probe

I use the TT-2 which is the predecessor of the TT-4 and yes, they can be used for accurate diameter touch off using reverse rotational probing. Depending on your tooling you might need an extension to the std disc stylus. I did some beta testing for Swissi's CHIPS add-on probing software using this ...

Re: Acorn6 CNC12 router V5.08 not detecting Either1616

You have installed v5.08 and then restored 2 reports from previous versions, the last triggering an error as shown in your error log as follows 03-06-2024 16:12:45 Installed report with mismatched version type You cannot and must not restore reports unless the same CNC12 version is used. To rectify,...

Re: Lathe: 907 X Axis Travel Exceded

Fully agree with Uwe. Updating CNC12 is very fast once you get used to it. My own record is just inside 30 minutes for my lathe, Router and Mill combined which all run on the same CNC PC. As with most things in life, remember the 7 Ps - Proper planning and practice prevents p*** poor performance :mr...

Yep, Shawn is absolutely correct Spartan, no need to apologise at all. We're just trying to help and give back something we have all benefited from over the years.

If banter can be added, so much the better. Now where is my horse

Re: Yaskawa V1000 hook up

Why so nasty? I'm pretty sure he did not want someone else to read the manual for him, but he thought that someone else that already knows what to do (without having to read the manual...) could tell him, what to do. And I'm also sure, he wasn't aware that it's not that easy ;) Be kind to each othe...
