Yes i did change out the spindle motor, it just seemed like to much of a hassle to work with the old one and with this new motor it will run with 6000rpm at 1:1. Than's for the tip of the lube line i will double check this, i didn't see this when i checked the Y ball screw.

My spindel is BT30, and the drawbar is spring loaded so removing the drive tangs is probably a bad idea.

I am doing a retrofit on an older mill with an umbrella style ATC for 10 tools.
And this will help me alot.
I think that i have almost the same type of spindelmotor as you have. When orienting the spindel how is this done? Is it just an index sensor and A macro for cnc12 ...

Just did the update to 4.14
And after when i tried and start the program the virtual control panel wont show.
I have rebooter several times, both acorn and cnc12. At the moment the setting are as the program comes.
I also tried loading a backup file with my setting, and that did not work either ...

I too had problems and finally went with a four wire shielded cable from IN 1-4 to a DB9 within the box and gave one input to each signal cable, then outside I left the un-shielded cable to each prox - switch and it works fine other than X is reversed on keypad and have not found a way to change ...

fredrik, I had the very same problem and found the headers SD1 DR1 and so on was not working I changed to the DB25 socket and got everything working other than X axis homing wrong way.
Have a look at the attached it explains how I connected the drivers make sure you change the header to DB25 port ...

I have added the schematic thats i went from.
i have dubble checked my wiring on ST1 DR1 EN1 and they all check out.
I only have this picture from my cabinet for the moment, and most of the wiring is temporary so its a mess in there.
I can gett better pictures ...
