Running a modified Hypertherm Powermax 30XP. (Which is not necessarily pertinent)
I discovered it is important to have the correct target voltage in the material profile, even if you are using Smart Sense. I had incorrectly assumed the target voltage was ignored with Smart Sense active. Maybe so ...

Re: M61 Torch Touch off and Pierce Cycle not working
You nailed it. Overlooked M65 in job file. Job ran as advertised!
Second, for future reference, the Report I tried to upload is the Zip just as generated from the controller. What size is it typically?
As always, you guys are much appreciated. Thanks

Re: M61 Torch Touch off and Pierce Cycle not working
Hey Keith,
Tried to attach report, and got error message: file to large. File is 15400 kb. Forgive me if I'm doing it wrong - I have built at least 5 machines with the Acorn controller - but I have had so few issues I'm still a rookie when it comes to this.

M61 Torch Touch off and Pierce Cycle not working <resolved>
When the M61 macro gets to line 65 of auto_z_zero_macro.cnc sub program, the job stops and throws a 501 error message. However, at that point the torch has not retracted, and float switch is still triggered. "Torch Touch OFF" test works via VCP button. Baffled??

Re: Spindle gear change using state of single input
Solved: Created new input definition SpindleRangeSW assigned to Input 3 in this case. Commanded M41 and M43 based on state of Input 3 with IF THEN statements. Had to remove SpindleRangeLow from one line as it is no longer recognized as valid. The attached screen captures show this. I copied and ...

Spindle gear change using state of single input
I want to tell acorn the spindle range, High or Low, using the state of a single input. High = Input Open Low = Input Closed
How can I map that and insure the Wizard can't overwrite it?

Configuring Acorn for 0-5V spindle control
I have drilled down in multiple posts to get clarity on configuring Acorn for 0-5V spindle control. It appears there are four possible solutions:
1) Throw away your 0-5V spindle drive and get a drive and motor that works on 0-10V (allow me a little humor here) = unacceptable
2) Install a KBSI-240D ...

Re: CWP-4 Setup
Thanks for your quick response guys. I must apologize for being a dufus in this case. I failed to "Write the new configuration" before exiting Wizard.
All working as advertised.

CWP-4 Setup
CWP-4 doesn't work. I have Acorn CNC12 v4.12+ Pro License. Wizard does not save "YES" selection for CWP-4
