Well, it will be in the 50's today and I probably work on it some, but check back Wednesday. I think the high won't get above freezing. I don't see how people, like in the UP stand it. I was there years ago in March. I think I shivered for a week when I got back.

I am still in the process of building my cabinet and getting things rewired. I also am moving my Acorn CNC12 to a better computer and touch screen monitor. Is there a particular process I should do in order to save all my settings on the old laptop, when transferring the software to the new ...

The DB25 breakout is what I attribute it to. It doesn't make sense but seems to have solved the problem. I hadn't done anything to it since last attempts several days ago. I had tried changing the DIP switches, but didn't have any movement. So it has to be the solution.

Thanks for all the advice. I have movement :D :D :D . I will do the same for the other axis once the new stepper arrives. Then its on to putting all this into a case and then on to spindle control. Thanks for all the help. One of these days, I'll get back to putting my lathe back ...
