I have been able to successfully write a macro and design my own button for the VCP. I've also been able to successfully modify the VCP to use my new button design and activate my macro. Thank you for the quick response. This is exactly the information I was looking for. I'll take a look a the referenced pages of the operator's manual and try to write a macro that can be called from the VCP.

You could also create a macro & VCP button to do it. Swissi's Probe App would be another good option. No copy/paste/divide needed. Thank you @Sword. I like this approach but - and it's a big but - I do not know how to program macros nor modify the VCP. I did download the macro programming manua...

Sorry. I missed that when I first starting looking at this thread. I'm in the process of converting my mill over to Teknic ClearPath servo motors. I was motivated by struggling with missed steps on my Z-axis and your recent project on YouTube.

Marty Can you post the model numbers for the ClearPath servo motors you are using? I'm particularly interested in the one you are using for the Z-axis.
