Re: 2007 Shopbot PRS-S 4896 Upgrade Recommendations
I can tell you from my experience (with a 2004 PRT), that simply replacing the controller and keeping your motors and those Gecko drives will result in a better performing and more stable machine. In my build I used G203's. In my case, cut quality did improve, but not as much as I had hoped. Speed a...

Re: Jog button in VCP sticks on
I gave up on the touch screen. Unplugged the USB cable.
My router started having phantom movements, and one day as I was switching bits it started moving while my hands were under there (I wasn't hurt, but it did startle me a bit)
I got the wireless MPG and I hardly use the VCP anymore any way.

Re: Shopbot PRT - fresh install CNC12
Yes.
I haven’t looked at my zzero plate yet (M6) but I’m running and homing now.
I haven’t yet cut anything, but based on what I’m seeing it all seems to be good.

Re: Shopbot PRT - fresh install CNC12
Yes to everything these guys said. A thumb drive with a report on it could've saved me a little time here. The good news is I was able to pull up my build threads here and find most of what I needed for my settings. I had never posted any reports previously, so I did not have any posted in my build ...

Re: Shopbot PRT - fresh install CNC12
Sorry, I have none of that.
My previous control computer died and I started from scratch.

Re: Shopbot PRT - fresh install CNC12
Ok... Just went into the Wizard and set Input 5 to SecondAxisHomeOK and Input 6 to FirstAxisHomeOK... looks that's what I needed? (had to remove HomeAll from input 1)
Moving on to my Zzero Plate.

Re: Shopbot PRT - fresh install CNC12
Ok, I had some time to spend on this recently. Still no luck. I think I have it configured correctly, or at least how it was configured before the fresh install of CNC12 Router. Attached (hopefully) you should see a report, my axis and homing configurations, and my input (alt-I) screen. The inputs s...

Re: 2 seperate paired axis.
So it's always the same motor doing this?
Have you swapped motors around to see if the problem follows the motor?
