the bbg was bricked. dont know why i didnt just try this as a last resort before i posted. but atleast my issue is resolved!

what? 199 dollars for something thats brand new and hasnt even made it past the bench test phase lol. this tbing has had connection issues randomly since bench testing it. even with the pc they recommend, and at that people on here saying they know they had issues with the nuc they recommend, and ...

You can pickup one local, just get a sheilded Cat5E with metal cover over the RJ45. Or just use a standard ethernet cable to test and see if that is the problem. If so go buy a new one.

yep, i used ethernet cable that came with it,,

yeah no splitters, bulkheads or anything, i have it out of the package it came in and sitting ontop of my wood table,

the board flashes and takes the update, just when you go to open cnc12 after the reboot. it shows connected on the actual acorn board, but the pc, waits on the "establisbing communications" screen then after about 25m gives the communications error.

pc tuner is suppose to i thought. but i even go and manually check all these things that it does anyway. with no luck still.
