That is correct. when I change the bit and then it doesn't give a chance to re-zero the new bit it just starts cutting of course at the wrong depth. I have only tried the sample files so far.

Okay I attached the 5 volts DC to the acorn power supply. I quickly looped it around to all four controllers and that seem to have done the trick. I did not initially do that because I thought the original power was still handling that part. But the wires labeled 5v to the controllers no longer go ...

I ran the pc tuner and no change on anything. The Ethernet cord im using is the one included with Acorn. what other pictures would you like?

I don't know if any wire is shielded on the entire machine. I will get started tonight I'm checking things out. The ethernet issue may be from me powering down my computer or rebooting it

I'm not sure if it makes a difference but I just unhooked the spindle output from the vfd thinking maybe that would address a possible electrical interference issue and it made no difference. Once I click the manual off on the spindle while it continues to run a cycle everything works as normal
