Re: Drive Fault on all drives - RESOLVED
I resolved the issues I was having. I moved the wiring from the 24V screw terminals to the DB25 5V and removed the ENA+ and ENA- from my CL86T and CL57T stepper drives. I had to switch the drives from 24V (factory default setting) to 5V using the S3 switch next to the DIP switches. Even though the ...

Re: Drive Fault on all drives
Did you test the motors using the “ bench test profile” ? If so, did you change the profile in wizard after installing on machine?

Re: Motors not moving
You have the step/direction output wired to the screw terminal on the board and not the DB25 connector. I believe the geiko drive profile requires the DB25 connector. You may try another profile. Like stepperonline or delta

Re: Hypertherm serial port
The hypertherm 45 has a duty cycle of 50% @ 45 amps, 5 min for every 10 min. If you plan on cutting > 3/16” at any production rates, you will end up damaging the power supply. A hypertherm 65 has a duty cycle of 100% @ 45 amps. Which means you can run it all day at 45 amps without any concern. I do ...

Re: Restart Mode
Ok. So figured out why restart mode is not operating correctly. If I pierce/lead in the Y positive direction, all good. If I pierce/lead in the Y negative direction, no buena.
Any ideas why the THC is working in one direction and not the other?

THC Not enabling?
I am having trouble with restart mode. When there is an interruption, I pick a pierce point and resume point. The torch touches the material but does not raise to pierce and fires with torch tip still touching material. Any help is appreciated.
