Good evening all, After a bit of a hiatus i'm back in the centroid world. Its been a couple years since I've touched a centroid control, but I have two machines that I'm looking to get back up an running. The first is a Nardini fast trace lathe. This would have started life with a fanuc control, but...

My control wants the usb stick to be attached when you turn the pc on. Once the control is fired up I can remove it and reattach and it sees it fine but if the usb isn't plugged in when I turn on the pc it wont find it.

At least on mine.

Totally bit me the first time I used my lathe too. Kept getting position errors. (Turns out my machine didn't like trying to go 20 inches per rev)

Can you comment on Axis speed, surface finishes, tolerances, etc on new control vs old control?
