I would be interested in your speeds and feeds. I have always struggled to part of aluminium on the manual lathe and when i get my CNC lathe running im hoping for better success.

Many thanks. I did look at that video and think that it may still upset the acorn due to the voltage drop but will research this again to make sure.

2 wire proximity sensor
On my lathe conversion using an Acorn board i need to use a 2 wire sensor (It’s a specific size and shape to fit in the lathe tool turret) and I cant find a 3 wire alternative. The manual says to not use a 2 wire sensor. Can anyone advise if a 2 wire will in fact work or a solution.
