Re: Can't move off limit per instructions in installation manual

Thank you it works now. I would have never figured that out unless I got lucky.

Ok, I noticed something different that I stated before. It throws no error when I indeed try to move it away from the limit, but it's unpowered and doesn't move. I can spin the MPG all I want. Letting go of the limit switch, it immediately has power again.

If I don't let go of the limit, as soon ...

Re: Non centroid Tool Length and 3D probes with Allin1DC

I believe that's exactly it. I was going down the path that I needed an inverting pnp or npn circuit but was getting hung up on having that load. I was going to model it in LtSpice. Didn't think of just cutting it out. Looks easy to just snip the leg on the LED.

Re: Can't move off limit per instructions in installation manual

Direction Reversal was already set on all three axes. That's where I'm stuck, for some reason it's shutting off power to the motors when the limit is hit, so I can't move in reverse, I just get a 411 error. I try to move it in the other direction same thing...

I have a feeling it's not suppose to ...

I'm trying to do roughly the same. Except I have a two wire probe setup like the attachment. Still doing my research.

I am also digging into this. This pinout for the probe connector doesn't seem well documented anywhere...
I have the same questions: What is mech and DSP? Also What signals can these handle (12v?, what's the resistance of the opto-couple?)
I assume 12v since that is the supply voltage in the ...

Can't move off limit per instructions in installation manual <resolved>

Finally getting around to adding limit switches to our machine with a ALLin14DC(old 90's knee mill with custom mounted motors.)

I am following the directions on pg 69 of latest(1-18-24) Centroid ALLin1DC CNC Control Installation Manual(attached)
and it asks me to manual hit the switch and then test ...
