Re: Laguna SS M2 48 with Richauto B57E HHC conversion to Centroid Acorn
Getting closer. Output 2 does not appear to be working so I've moved the DustfootActivate to Output 4. That is under control of the PLC Diagnostic as well as MDI commands. However, earlier I changed ATC to "NONE", and now I cannot seem to generate a new mfunc6.mac. Centriodcnc has been very helpful ...

DustFootActivate
I'm still having some trouble lifting the DustFoot manually, and automatically (at the right time).
Here is what I want to do:
1. Set a macro assigned to a button to raise the DustFoot and another to lower the DustFoot. This if for manually setting the machining surface, inspecting the tool, etc ...

Re: GCode not getting it for M58 macro
I was working off the wrong set of G-Codes. I now see outputs are controlled by M6x/M8x where ON for output 1 is M61 and OFF is M81, etc. Seems to be working now and makes sense. Thanks @sword.

GCode not getting it for M58 macro <resolved>
I am just trying to assign CNC12 macros to functions such as "raise the dust hood" on my output relay board. I wrote this test macro. Fired everything up, homed the machine, but I don't see Relay 5 changing state. What am I doing wrong? (note: I tried M95/5 also just in case my logic was swapped ...

Re: Laguna SS M2 48 with Richauto B57E HHC conversion to Centroid Acorn
How do I assign SWx on the relay board to outputs such as raise the dust hood?
My outputs via the relay board (all NO) are:
SW1 = FWD1 on HETCO spindle control (spindle seems to run fine without this input)
SW2 = Raise Dust Hood
SW3 = Release tool
Input IN7 = dust hood up reed switch
I don't see ...

Re: Laguna SS M2 48 with Richauto B57E HHC conversion to Centroid Acorn
Gary,
Thanks for the feedback. See the attached schematic of the Estop schematic on my machine. It disrupts power from K1 (main system contactor) and kills mains, 24VDC, etc. There is no machine power when this NC switch is open per the schematic. What functions within the Centriod control system ...

Re: Laguna SS M2 48 with Richauto B57E HHC conversion to Centroid Acorn
Thanks, Ken!
As I get closer, it seems to be a non-issue. I have start stop control via the Acorn and I have the power cutting original E-stop. It does not seem there is any advantage of "doubling up" on the E-stop.
Next question:
I have X,Y,Z control. Spindle on/off control. But I set the SW1 on ...

Re: Laguna SS M2 48 with Richauto B57E HHC conversion to Centroid Acorn
E-Stop Question: I am replacing my RichAuto controller with the Acorn. My E-Stop severs power to the cabinet - non-graceful- yet immediate stop to the gantry/spindle/controller.
I see the E-stop input is "required" on the Acorn. Is this some secondary E-stop? Shall I continue without adding an ...

Re: Laguna SS M2 48 with Richauto B57E HHC conversion to Centroid Acorn
@centriod467, thanks! The datasheet was helpful. I'm still not sure exactly what this is hooked up to inside the MS300, but I put a 10K pull-up on the line, powered the RichAuto and toggled the spindle on and off. OA1 was around 7V (and the speed set to 18,000 RPM) which seems correct. When the ...
