Re: Line Reactor for DYN4 with 120VAC power to the drive
Marty, The design is not for any particular machine. I'm testing parts and pieces to see where they might work best. Years ago, I had a 5' X 10' Shopbot PRT-Alpha. Ten years ago or so, I had to sell that machine because of illness. Now I have sufficient health to get back into the game. Although I'v...

Re: need help wiring 4 clearpath motors
Thanks Gary and Dave. As soon as I get the servos, I'll run some tests using relays. I've got some relays with 24vdc 10mA coils that might work. Generally I prefer using solid-state components around micro-processors, but if you guys have made relays work reliably, then I'll try the same thing. Gary...

Re: need help wiring 4 clearpath motors
Gary, The ClearPath motors were on the test bench when I had the faulting problem and the two motors were different, a 2311S and a 3411P, so response times could easily have been different, especially with the jog set to 500 inches per minute. Having dissimilar motors was the base reason that I retu...

Line Reactor for DYN4 with 120VAC power to the drive
This may be off-topic for this forum, but I've ordered a DMM DYN4-H01A2-00 driver and a 86N-DHT-A6MD1 servo to use with my ACRON board. I received some input power wiring diagrams from DMM showing the proper add-on componests to use to connect the drive to 3-phase and 1-phase 240VAC, but nothing for...

Re: need help wiring 4 clearpath motors
Gary, Thanks for the quick reply. The step and direction signals worked properly with the (+) end tied to +24VDC and the (-) end connected to the corresponding step or direction H2/H3 connector. The Enable signals worked properly when connected in parallel through the E-Stop switch per the schmatic....

Re: need help wiring 4 clearpath motors
Dave, Thanks for the info on the alarm circuit. The Centroid schematic for multiple ClearPath motors shows that the HLFB circuit is daisy-chained with the 1st motor's RED conductor tied to GND, it's GREEN conductor tied to the 2nd motor's RED conductor - with the same daisy-chain for additional moto...
