Re: Centroid reverses the Y direction when using setup feature
Holy cow. That's way I had it to start with! My homing switch was mounted near the X table homing switch. My problem is the way part setup software treats the probe trying probe Y starting positive side moving negative. Trying start positive side will move positive rather up across the part towards ...

Re: Centroid reverses the Y direction when using setup feature
Thanks for reply. I just this morning moved my Y homing switch towards the positive part of the table from the negative as I had it. I changed to Y homing in Wizard from 91 to 92. Y will not home towards the switch. From the PLC the positive arrow moves the Y negative and the plus moves negative. Wh...

Centroid reverses the Y direction when using setup feature
When I use the Centroid part setup utility, I must place actual probe in the opposite direction the software indicates the travel to be. For example, if I have the probe sitting positive side to travel to the negative I must reverse the software selection to the negative traveling to the positive. I...

Re: WCS G54 Z axis not correct after setting part Z axis
Sorry to hear about your issue, but at the same time my PM25 is doing the exact same thing. My machines homes just fine. I've used ALL the possible methods of setting tool offsets, touch off device, reference tool, and Z-homing. I've used a spindle probe to set part x,y,z and ran the program and eve...

Re: Fusion 360 program & my PM25
I use the inside upper corners of my vise probing the inside and outside edges for WSC54. I was checking again this morning and I remembered initially setup my PM25 CNC conversion to -Y being to the column side of the machine. Realizing this was wrong, I didn't know of a way to correct this mistake ...

Re: Fusion 360 program & my PM25
Obviously, there is something I'm doing wrong. I'll take it slow, deselect my zero on the stock, and reset my machine zero again.
Thanks for your feedback running the Fusion tutorial file successfully.

Re: Fusion 360 program & my PM25
I tried every possible zero I could, both in the Fusion setup and my PM-25 setup. I use the CHIPS software and a S5000LED TTS probe to find the part location for WCS54. Nothing changed the output. I do wish someone could run the Fusion tutorial NC as I tried and see if the results are the same. As o...

Re: Fusion 360 program & my PM25
Thanks for all the responses. I have tried another of the tutorial parts that I have worked though and the results were the same. Both files moved the work off to the -Y, X coordinates on the F8 graph function and my PM25 worked the part as the graph indicated. I also built a simple part using the F...

Re: Fusion 360 program & my PM25
I must say, after trying most everything suggested here and my struggling with paramenter settings on my PM25, I must believe the problem is with the Fusion 360 file. I ran a .cnc file that was included in the Intercon software and it milled just as it should. I can only hope that someone using Fusi...

Re: Fusion 360 program & my PM25
This my graph of the part. Looks like zero is at the -y, x coordinates of the part and that is where the part was defined in the Fusion setup.
