Re: New Build LMS 3990 Hi Torque Mini Mill
Suntravel, I SEE IT NOW!!! The reference earlier to the Wizard settings is for BOTH the MPG & VCP. I also see that the INCR 1x is not 0.001" but 0.0001" and all else is a factor of that base. HOLY CRAP the light bulb just went off. I've been wondering "WTH is wrong" for over ...

Re: Tool Library conflicts?
If I'm using Fusion for a Tool Library AND to process the G-code should the tool library in Centroid be populated? Wouldn't this create a conflict? You have to setup tools in CNC 12 like in fusion by hand. With the next upcoming ProbeApp from swissi you can import fusion tool libs in CNC12. Uwe So,...

Re: New Build LMS 3990 Hi Torque Mini Mill
Axis configuration in the Wizard, x1 Linear Jog Increment. Uwe Not what I mean exactly. When I Reset Home and get 0,0,0 I turn my handwheel on the wireless MPG one click +/- X or Y and the DRO displays the expected amount. When I press the buttons on the MPG I get a number different than the 0.100 ...

Re: Touch probe
If your mill is good, no problem to digitize with less than 0.01mm deviation with the KP3 probe. The smallest tip I use is 1mm diameter. Rhino to convert point clouds to STEP. But you can also mill shapes without CAM if you use a round tip mill with the same diameter as the probe. For simple shapes...

Re: Fusion 360 Mill Post Processor for Acorn with additional Features (New Version 5)
I got it figured out. For whatever the reason the processor produced a corrupt file. I ran it again and it works.

Re: New Build LMS 3990 Hi Torque Mini Mill
If you are already doing manual tool changes, post each tool path as a separate file. Then, just do the tool change before running the file. I actually found a way to get this added to the program. Seems Fusion added the tool. I followed instructions and in the simulation there is a stop at the beg...

Re: Fusion 360 Mill Post Processor for Acorn with additional Features (New Version 5)
How do I know if the Post Processor is putting out good code? I'm using this Swissi and cannot cut a chip. I shared the code with Fusion/Centroid guys in another group and they are saying the code is junk. Is there another option to see what works with my machine? I'm at a loss here.
