So .... :D :D
  • New 1.2m copper earth rod got pounded into the ground outside the shed
  • 2 separate 10mm earth cables connected both the table and the Acorn control box to the rod
  • CNC12 fresh install
And now this is the plot I got,
Still yet to connect the Hypertherm to the TX board

So measuring the the two pins I should see ......?? so in the hypertherm manual I see the procedure for installing voltage divider board, but don't see how it can be checked/tested.
I verified it is set to 50:1

This is with the THC enabled, same result
Man, I'm so over this job ... its gone on for so long now, I can remember half of the stuff done on this machine
Just need to getting it cutting, then they can dial in the settings

Joey thanks for the quick reply man, So I've used 3mm 45A profiles for ALU . That didn't work gave me the line 118 error .. Thought maybe somehow the profile was corrupt, I changed to 45A 0.125 profile and still gave me the same error. I looked at line 118 on a few of the profiles, but couldn't unde...

Hi Joey
New TX board arrived, installed, "THC bench test" readings correct.
Now loaded the "Torch Test" and getting error/not running (501 Invalid character, ALU-45A-1.cnc, line 118) I don't know whats causing this now and any help would greatly be appreciated

The Fiber connection point on the TX board .... one side of the plastic connection point snaped while removing the fiber cable. Hot glue is holing the cable in place.. The header on the THC_TX snapped or the connector on the cable itself? If it is only the board side then it should function as long...

I don't see an ARC-OK connection on the PowerMax schematics. I used S15153 and S15136 to connect the torch holder and Hypertherm .. didn't see and ARC OK
Am I missing something ??

To run without the THC kit, Set the THC to Not installed in the profile managers THC config menu. You will need to hook the Torch float switches to the Acorn input. You will want to wire the ARC OK signal from the Hypertherm to an input also to ensure a reliable pierce delay. Joey So this is whats ...

So Guys here's the situation at the moment, besides the owner being really p***ed off .. Can anyone tell me by looking at the latest report and/or the THC bench-test result if TX board is gone ? If not, why the 10v result? If yes, can I run the plasma with the Hypertherm 125 without the THC TX board...
