If you are dead set on having a GFI receptacle, they make a VFD grade. Try a Legrand 2097TRAPLW. It will probably work for you if the noise is causing your trips.

Re: Hardinge CHNC II+ Hickory LeadShine EL7 Retrofit
On a side note, this is my first time using Intercon is is really easy to use. For the lathe, I can’t really think that anything else would be needed for most projects. https://photos.app.goo.gl/KL88FycMxDj5WmwWA but it has a UI from 1998 it must be terrible!  Well it’s only a few weeks...

Re: Threading with Acorn lathe Pro
Hello, I know this is an old thread, but I found it while searching for information on thread angle. Is it accurate that the thread angle needs to be doubled to get actual entry angle that you want? If I am reading the thread right then 59 degrees setting a manual compound slide at 29.5 and if you w...

Re: Hickory Wizard
Thanks Keith, another general question: I noticed in news letter that version 5.1 is available now. What is the thought on updating? Is it best practice to always stay up to date, or is it more of a “ if it ain’t broke don’t fix it thing”? I understand when something big like the Wizard is coming it...

Hickory Wizard
Been reading a lot of posts and a lot of the questions a guy might have are answered by do this or that in the wizard.
Is there a Hickory Wizard in the future?

Re: Hardinge CHNC II+ Hickory LeadShine EL7 Retrofit
I am really close to completing the retro-fit from the Fanuc GN10 to Centroid Hickory. All of the real work is done, but I still have quite a bit of putting back together, making some gaskets for covers and just general clean up of the wiring and need to do a little more labeling as well. I pretty m...

Re: Printing out Intercon programs
I would think you could load the program, use the edit button to open in notepad plus and print from there. Gary

Hi Lavrgs, just curious, does it blow the fuse with every thing unhooked?

Re: Hardinge CHNC II+ Hickory LeadShine EL7 Retrofit
Started setting up some tool offsets and doing some dimensioning tests. Started out trying the DP-1 probe and found it to trip very accurately. When I hit it multiple times it almost always lands on the same number down to the tenth in both X and Z. When using it to measure tools it seems to work ve...

Re: Hardinge CHNC II+ Hickory LeadShine EL7 Retrofit
Question about encoder cable. Once the rest of the retrofit is complete I am planning to retrofit the air driven tool turret with a servo motor. I am using Leadshine EL7 drives and servos with absolute encoders. The encoder cable already has the motor connector on it and it is impossible to get it ...
