Re: DIY cnc router with Acorn and Dyn 4

Another question, hopefully the last for today. What is the best way to branch the areas circled in pink from the dmm power supply schematic? https://photos.app.goo.gl/th6rUqavMVn2GkNa9 I used these cuz they are cheap, but you can use the dinrail mounted Terminals if you want it to be more professi...

Re: Refit of old CandCNC Machine

Sean that would be great if you posted a video of your m6. The easiest video editing is just setting up a YouTube channel and using YouTube video editing software. It's pretty much identical to Adobe Premier Rush, to the point that I'm pretty sure it was developed by the same people. Check it out an...

Re: Refit of old CandCNC Machine

I just changed my safe z height nothing in the PP for the z height. I can post my vectric PP if you want, I only had to add a couple things to the stock PP but I don't recall having to change anything for the z height. I'm pretty sure you're running the same tool setter as I am and same tool change ...

Re: Overtravel on paired axes?

Try the beta software if you haven't yet. I had the same problem with 4.18 for some reason.

You mentioned there would be a version soon that supported changing images of the VCP buttons in an easier manner than present.

Re: Refit of old CandCNC Machine

Oh and what you are seeing with the + number when my spindle is up it's the WCS distance not the machine distance. Once the tool is zeroed in the WCS at the top of the material and I move the spindle up the number goes to a positive value because the work piece coordinate zero is now set to the top ...

Re: Refit of old CandCNC Machine

I got the dt02 on Amazon it was cheap and works well in my opinion. My travel is the same homes at the top z 0 in the + direction and moves down in the - direction to a maximum of -11.25" of total travel. It sounds like you have yours set up properly and it has to do with the tool length in the...

Re: Mechanical issue (not controller related)

It won't zero out the soft limits if the auto square is able to run all the way through the macro. If you have the machine mechanically square and the limits staggered properly the software will reset your limits. If for example you trigger the master first the limits don't get reset since the macro...
