There should be a word of caution about "forcing" things in the DIAG screen. Just when everything is about to really run, you should make sure that all the items get put back to default.

I am trying to set up probing and when I go to the tool setup I don't see a probing option

I want to set up position 8 on the tool table to have two offsets - I don't see how to have 2 tool 8.
I was told I could use 0808 and 0809 but I'm missing how to do this.

My mockups, so far have been 3D printed although I started by gluing some scrap aluminum - quickly found I needed more flexibility :D .

The current plan is to use a base with slots to move it up and have shoulder screws to minimize motion. Plan B would be to block up the slide. There is a set screw that it bottoms out on and it can be locked.
I use a master tool arrangement so if the probe location changes too much I just remeasure ...

I tried this tapered turning on an OD and it worked very well, roughing then finishing. Now I wonder about doing an ID...

Try using the Diag screen (Alt I) and force it closed. You may have to move the cursors around to find the one labeled something like "Door Closed" CNTL ALT I will invert it
