Re: WCS zero X and Y macro

Unless I am missing something and you have used all available WCS depending on your licensing, why not allocate one (e.g. WCS6) just for the jig. Then you are ready to go as and when required but still retaining the flexibility of the other WCS settings for other work. Advantage is no programing re...

Re: WCS zero X and Y macro

I did not know that CNC12 keeps the last zero location. Good to know! However, what I'm doing is just for a jig that mounts to the spoil board. It's not used everyday. So having a button to locate the router zero at the jig is perfect. I will run the code you posted as I think that is exactly what I...

Re: WCS zero X and Y macro

Yes, I will home the router first then run the macro. Sounds like this will work.

Thanks!

Re: WCS zero X and Y macro

How do I write G code to move the router to X2.00 Y3.00 Z4.00 then automatically set that location to WCS to X0.00 Y 0.00 Z4.00?

I will assign it to a MPG button that I will push after the homing operation. This will set my WCS 0's when using a jig.

WCS zero X and Y macro

I'm running CNC12 4.5

After homing my router, I would like to push a button on my wireless controller or the VCP and move it to a programed location. Then automatically zero X and Y WCS.

Probably simple but not sure how to make it happen.

Re: NPN NC Proximity Sensors

Thanks for everyone's help! I just have 3 proximity sensors connected for now. It homes perfectly and is up and running. Travel limits are set and work as well.

Here is a test video:

NPN NC Proximity Sensors

I finally have everything working except the limit switches. I do have 3 connected and they work. However, I have 2 sensors per axis. I don't see the need for the Z- sensor. So that's 5 sensors I would like to use and I have only 3 inputs open. What input types do I use and is it possible to auto sq...

Re: Spindle turns starts on CNC12 boot up.

All spindle issues are resolved! I removed the shield ground and it's solid as a rock. This was the only side of the shield that was grounded, so now the shield not grounded at all.

Re: Spindle turns starts on CNC12 boot up.

I'm using 24ga shielded twisted pair. Shield grounded on one side of the VFD ground only. 15' run to the control box. It worked on the last setup.

Re: Spindle turns starts on CNC12 boot up.

I had a chassis ground that was inadvertently connected the the DCM causing crazy stuff to happen. My wiring is per the Acorn circuit diagram except I have a C86 board to deal with the CNCdrive drives. The C86 was using the output relay #1 to signal the C86 to activate. The C86 then sends a signal t...
