Parameters

In the manual section 14.3.3. Parameter 1- Y jog key orientation give you the option to flip direction of Y jog key, my question is there a parameter to flip X jog key.
I would find this very helpful to be able to do before I order a MPG.

Any help please.

Re: No motor movement

Are you connecting drive to headers on acorn or to the DB25 connector, the headers don't work you need to connect to DB25.

Thanx Phil!

Going with the db25 was a good tip! This worked pretty good, but i am getting some interference to the limit switches through the db25, they trip and clears back and forth. Have you had that problem also?

Now i wired the limit switches the regular way. But it would be nice to ...

Re: reversed direction

Please use direction reverse selection in the wizard one way or the other so that the X+ jog key moves the TOOL in the Positive direction.
you should take a photo of your machine and label the photo with the axis and the direction so we can see what you are thinking . this way we can direct you ...

Re: reversed direction

the Jog buttons on the VCP are TOOL movement. don't look at the table.. look at the Tool when setting direction.
wire the motor as per the mfg directions
use "Direction Reversal" to reverse the direction of the motor.
Inverting the step and direction signal is only to get the drive to run, not to ...
