Re: Hardinge HNC Reduex 2

Those messages mean that the Allin1DC reported it found three additional PLCAD1616 boards connected (but just their output sections, apparently).

Since we can reasonably assume that you did not plug in three additional boards, then either the Allin1DC is malfunctioning, or CNC12 is receiving ...

Re: Hardinge HNC Reduex 2

Got the tools measured.

Decided to cut a 3/8-16 thread for my first project.

Perky jerky....slowed things down they cut...better....then as the toolbit was coming out towards Z Home it stopped. I then tried moving from the pendant. Nothing was moving. No spindle, no axis movement.

Decided to ...

Re: Hardinge HNC Reduex 2

My type2 took over after lunch...spent the afternoon in one of my mini comas.
Ran out to the i shop after I woke up.

Looked at things again. Considered rewiring the Clippard...needed to move the carriage so I
booted the control up and moved it. Then just for fun decided to try the turret again ...

Re: Hardinge HNC Reduex 2

Seems I have a sticky valve or solenoid...found a wire that looks suspect, though it carry some current as I could test continuity. The turret is not lifting. Will report my findings.

Re: Hardinge HNC Reduex 2

Got all excited to measure some tools. Hit Turret Index button and watched the turret spin like a top, stopping after 1 full revolution with the error FAULT Index Timeout.
This worked fine prior to installing CNC12 V5.30

Tried installing previous report files...no luck yet.

I would think that parameter 16 would be good to place in the list of required parameters under 5.13 TT-2 and TT-4 Parameters in that centroid-cnc12-lathe-operator-manual.pdf

Re: Hardinge HNC Reduex 2

Parameter 16 – Maximum Probing Distance

This was 0, changed to 1 and got Auto Measurement moving. Still not understanding this, but making progress.

Need to figure out the whole Ref tool thing. Do I just set one tool up then everything else goes off it? This being a Hardinge Turret I cannot see ...

P18 = 0

Same error.
plus
P405 = 0
Same error.
plus
P407 =0 (Noted that the INP769 LED under Alt-I still shows Green when tripped)
Same error.
