Hi There.

My Acorn V5.22 is crashing when I do a search to start from a particular line (N block).

System ran flawlessly on V4.82.

PC is Win10 with all windows updates and passed the PC tuner tests. (PC does not crash.)

I don't remember having to tool change to the probe (in my case T100) in V4.82.

Acorn recognizes when I unplug the probe, so it sees it if plugged in.

Can I repeat my original stanza. (See original screenshots)

My probe worked all probing routines in V4.82. Input 7 and was shown in the Touch Probe config and "probe tripped" was the selection in "Input definitions".

ONLY change was to upgrade CNC12 to V5.20.

Ok. I upgraded to V5.22 (couldn't see where to find V5.24).

Still the same issue.

I note that when "probe detect" is chosen in the input settings (input 7 in this case) the input has disappeared in the probing page!!

Maybe this is the source of the "cant detect probe..." error when a probing ...

Probing routine quits back to main screen when I disconnect the probe.

Are you saying I have to wire in another input because of the software upgrade?

Input is set to input7.
Probe is plugged in.

as above "when I move the probe with my finger, the graphic shows “triggered x 1/slow jog only.” so acorn sees my probe.

Unfortunately, none of the suggested remedies above have worked. These include:

Probe Wizard changes:
Probe Detection Enabled – NO
Probe Protection based on tool number – NO

Tool change - M6 to designated T100

Attached are screenshots of the settings which worked fine in V4.82, but not now in V5.20

No mechanical or wiring was changed. Only the software upgrade (V5.20) was loaded.

My probe does not work in V5.20. Worked fine in V4.82

All V5.20 wizard settings copied from the V4.82 wizard.

Acorn shows probe tripped when moved manually, (see attachments) but wont invoke the probing routines.
