Re: Scribe Sheetcam post processor
That would be awesome. What does the workflow look like, if I use Fusion and sheetcam now, to add some scribing to the parts? Vectric? Seems like a lot $$ for something so simple. Can anyone explain the process of adding scribe to the toolpaths? I don't see an option besides plate marker in sheetcam...

Scribe Sheetcam post processor
Can anyone explain the process of adding scribe to the toolpaths? I don't see an option besides plate marker in sheetcam, but it just uses m61/62. Maybe an updated post I'm not finding?
Thanks!
Dylan

Re: Good cuts, THC working good, Z loses machine coordinates?
Dug deeper into the float switch issue today. It showed up on 5.05 beta and 5.05 beta R1. When the Ohmic is tripped (closed) and it does a touch off using the float switch it doesn't add the right offset to the Z height, causing the nozzle to drag when it tries to cut. If the Ohmic stays open and yo...

Re: Good cuts, THC working good, Z loses machine coordinates?
Thanks Joey, Beta build seems to work without a hitch. Safe height after a touch-off always returned to what it was supposed to be through 20 ish parts with THC enabled. I did not add the custom macro you wrote, wanted to test the build as it was before changing anything else. I need to work on the ...

Re: Good cuts, THC working good, Z loses machine coordinates?
Fresh Report with plot. Fired up the machine, homed it, safe height set to .500". Did a torch touch off, it retracted to .500" in the WCO DRO. Cut a 2x24" rectangle out of .090" aluminum, cut went great THC working fine. After the cut I did another torch touch off and it retracte...

Re: Good cuts, THC working good, Z loses machine coordinates?
I'll try and get a fresh report this evening, with plot turned on. THC Affecting Z Machine coordinates and soft limits will be Addressed in the Next Build. Your Calibration Plots Looked good from the First Report you posted. I could not find a calibration report in the latest report. I Think in only...

Re: Good cuts, THC working good, Z loses machine coordinates?
I spoke too soon, finally had time today to try and run some proper parts. It won't cut for more than a few minutes with THC enabled until the Z machine coordinates start to walk again. Have to shut the entire machine down and reboot and re-home in-between parts. Still on 5.02 and didn't yet try the...

Re: Thc non plasma usage
We are having the same issue with the Z position doing wierd things when THC is active. It was worse with soft limits enabled on the Z but still does it without the limits... Definitely not losing steps or have a coupler slipping. With the safe height set to .5" after a few cuts you do a touch ...
