Re: OPCON and USB-BOB

Ultimately, I want to build a custom push button control panel with as many functions as I can fit. As a work around, I've been using joystick encoders and arduino macro pads to allow this, but they have left a lot to be desired as far as resemblance to a professional machine. Spent weeks trying to...

Re: RPM using Hall effect sensor with 4 magnets

When you ran mpucomp, did you specify the name of the output file, as mpu.plc? Presuming that you saved your modified file under the name "mill_acorn_plc.src", then the compile command would be: mpucomp mill_acorn_plc.src mpu.plc There it is! I knew there was something small I was missing...

Re: RPM using Hall effect sensor with 4 magnets

Hi, I was able to get it to work. Crazy question, did you compile your code after making the changes? Franklin Salas I have, I ran mpucomp.exe on mill_acorn_plc.src in cmd after editing and saving, but it doesn't seem to be having any effect. My RPM is still reading 4x fast. Below is a screen cap o...

Re: RPM using Hall effect sensor with 4 magnets

Hey there sorry to revive a dead thread, but I was trying this workaround on my machine last night and changing those values didn't seem to have any effect on the spindle speed in the program. Is there something Im missing?

Re: Relay board showing all engaged. Is it toast?

Thank you so much! Just to verify it's not the relay board, I ran 5v and ground to it without I/O. All lights are red as they should be.

Re: Relay board showing all engaged. Is it toast?

ok.. they ship out fully tested. what do you think caused this? I honestly think it's my own fault. About a week ago, I accidentally pricked my finger on a lead on the BBG. Didn't really think anything of it and didn't think it got anywhere, but this was a spot was under the two Recom relays, so I ...

Just to clarify, the red spot and shorted IC are on the Acorn board.
