Re: Lathe Work/CNC12 and Post Processing

First off, cnckeith...thank you for the videos. I was 100% unaware of currently understanding what available CNC programming entailed. This showed me. I thank you for the second video in the series. That showed me exactly how to set XZ and use offsets for tools with CNC12. And yes sir, my parts can ...

Lathe Work/CNC12 and Post Processing

Hello, I am wondering which software available can handle CNC12 Lathe for post processing... I have this tiny, miniature lathe that I want to use for making small parts. I am new, i.e. as everyone can tell. Seth P.S. If someone uses a lathe and CNC12 Lathe source from Centroid, please jump in. I can...

Re: Video Walkthrough of How I Use the Acorn

Nice.

Does Centroid have post processors for Atom 3D? It is an Alibre product. I bought years ago and I am just getting into it. I started to make parts and I can make step files with it.

Seth

P.S. Learning all the time...I like the video. I learned some. Thank you.

Re: Okay! Making Things Work!

Hello,

That is relative. Just kiddin' here. Anyway, thank you for pointing that out!

Seth

P.S. Dim light and fast moving cameras make for terrible videos obviously. Have no fear, I will retry and redo things.

Re: Okay! Making Things Work!

It really is out of focus a bunch. I have an older camera and it is bogus, obviously. That or my use of it in the dim light makes it worse.

Also...from what I understand, use the Wizard. There are many easy-to-follow sets of instructions online for the Wizard data that needs to be correct.

Re: 2006 ShopBot PRT Alpha controller upgrade...

Mr. Gary, Nice...When you talk about inexperienced persons handling out-of-date data and software, I am keen! Not as keen as your shopbot lingo but nonetheless, I still try. Seth P.S. Keep up the good work, fellows/gals. I got me two boards (Acorns) and one is a full-fledge user already. Giving orde...
