Re: Choosing the correct board for my project. (Hardinge Cobra 42)
I appreciate your input on this. Sorry for the late response here. I ended up just calling Centroid and talking with sales. We ordered a hickory board and some new drives and servos. Installation is underway.

Choosing the correct board for my project. (Hardinge Cobra 42)
Hello All,
Just acquired an old (1997) but young (fewer than 2k hours) Hardinge Cobra 42 lathe. Quick story is - was used by a school and within the 1st year of use, axis board errors and driver parameter issues caused it to be out of commission. The school didn't have the funds to fix it so ...

Backlash compensation - circles vs. squares
Hey Guys/Gals,
I have a mill (Fryer MC-50) that is setup with an Oak board. We run a KP-3 probe that is pretty well dialed in (within .000x"). We have found that running square contours gave us a little deviation in relation to the probe measurements and x dimensions were slightly off compared to y ...

Ok, unfortunately I'm too stupid to do this properly. I made the edits that made sense to me and all it did was caused a PLC that failed to load. I don't know what I am doing and made a couple of attempts that ended in failure. Is there anyone that is able to help me with this?

Thank you!!! I Copied and pasted anything having to do with SSV / FRV into the appropriate locations.
Going to be putting in some OT tomorrow, so maybe i'll load the PLC as well so I can report back. Thank you!!!!
It's very much appreciated

Maybe is someone who has SSV active in their PLC willing to share it with me so I can make the changes myself?

Just following up to see if you got a chance to look into this? If not, no rush. I'm just thankful for your efforts. If there is some literature somewhere or a reference I can check out, id be happy to try myself.
Thanks again!!
