Re: M92 Homing Failing

Today when I turned the machine on it worked as normal. I had shut it down with the r7 PLC active yesterday. Reinstalling the r10 brought the problem back.

I only have a tool setter so I think you might be onto something. There isn't anything attached to 771. I will still test this with r10 to see ...

Re: M92 Homing Failing

Yes, recently updated to 5.1 from around 4.2 I think. I have used the machine since the update and everything was fine.

The limit switches have been the same since I installed the Oak almost 2 years ago and they worked just 20 min before I had this issue. I don't know the travel that they usually ...

M92 Homing Failing

I was making some new Mcodes and while testing I notice my M200's that used to show a custom message would only display "Press Cycle Start to Continue". I shut the system down and started it back up and homing now fails on M92. The axis moves till it trips the switch and backs off. Right after the ...

Re: Encoder Error

My oak was replaced and running the same tests on the new oak showed all 4 axis ports working perfectly. I was told after that they didn't find a problem with the oak I shipped to them

Re: Checking for G52 offset active

I am using G52 for X and Y in an M-Code that turns on and lowers a drill below the height of the main spindle and a different M-Code that resets the G52 and turns off the drill. This works great under normal operation but if the Estop gets pressed it doesn't reset the G52. The plc disables the M ...

Re: Encoder Error

Also after running the program and the DRO doesn't return to 0, I can jog it back to .0000 and the dial then reads 0 so it seems like the problem is in what is being commanded, not encoder error.

Re: Encoder Error

I just made videos of the exact same servo drive, motor and encoder plugged into each axis port on the Oak.
I set all the axis settings to default before running the test (Max speed, Accel). I set the the rev/in to 1 to be able to easily calculated the error per rotation.

I only enabled one axis at ...

Encoder Error

I am working on a new install on a Biesse Router. The router has Yaskawa SGDH drives. I got the oak, nuc and yaskawa pre made cables to make a quick install. The X axis (Axis 1) was up and running without a problem. The Y (Axis 2) and Z (Axis 3) are both giving me encoder error count that doesn't go ...
