You can use the CNC4PC boards, but they are not required. Users have had various results with the boards. Problems are usually around hooking up the homing and drive fault signals. Im looking into getting the Acorn controller for my mill. I have ASD-B2-0421-B ECMA-C20604RS motors/drivers, the Acorn states compatibility with Delta ASDA-A2. Are the ASD-B2 compatible with the Acorn?
