I updated the acorn software to 5.1 and can't find the torch calibration program.

5.08 is the current release.

The 5.06 post at the top of the plasma forums is actually linked to the 5.08 release download page.

Did you run the job more than once? Was it stopping in the same places?

Yes ran program twice, it stopped at two different spots.

Restart mode is general is more robust in 5.08 and it might be worth updating.

Finally some time to get back to the plasma table and it stops randomly and wont let me restart where it left off. Also normally I dry run to the stop point and finish the cutting when this happens. But today it wouldn't let me turn off dry run when I got to where it stopped. I have no idea why its ...

Cutting some small ovalish shaped holes about .375 dia x .5 long and the torch dove into the material. backed up shut off thc and finished the part. Does a person need to leave the thc off if the part has small cutouts in it? I also get waiting for memory all the time while running. is this normal ...

So is my z axis being 5 revs per inch too slow? Or is the acorn too slow to respond fast enough with my acceleration set at .2? What acceleration do you recommend on the z axis?

Ground is through the table
Motors are cheap stepper online ones
Drives are gecko 203v
I'm only running one motor on each axis so I'm sure its under powered. just want to make some stuff to sell before sinking another 2 or 3k into this thing to have 2 motors on the y axis.
