I tried connecting a monitor to the cable in picture but nothing showed on monitor…should have worked?

Hi, after following your information I can confirm that the LEDs light and it jogs and moves fine . If I now do as you suggest and investigate the descrambler, is it something I can repair or replace ?

Hi thanks for reply, yes the in jog panel lights . .. have noticed there are a series of beeps on start up .. more than it normally did .. not sure if that means anything ? Is it difficult to check the ribbon and descrambler board ?

Hi , I have another screen problem on a different machine.
After a short power cut the machine came back on with the screen like this , any ideas what’s wrong ? Thanks

Ok , so I managed to load the language MSG file and it all looked good , it got past that screen and I thought it was going to be ok… however it’s now stuck on this screen.. can you help again please … many thanks

it is strange as the control was fine before I changed the date and time and screen resolution {all be it too large for the screen}

I have a floppy drive and I think I could unpack the zip file and copy the MSG file to a disc ok … but I think copying it to the C:\CNC7 directory on my control is a bit beyond me. Is there any chance you could tell me how to do that in a kind of computers for dummy’s way ?
