Re: Problems with Centroid_OAK_Mill_SpinBrake-r2.src

You can find plcinstaller.exe in C:\Program Files (x86)\Centroid. The rightmost button on the bottom that says "Install and keep existing configuration" will not overwrite the machine configuration. This is the recommended method if no configuration changes are needed. As an aside, you can...

Re: little problems with Centroid oak

What errors were you referring to in the post from yesterday? What did you mean by the settings in the Delta ASDA-B2? Are you asking for help interpreting the drive's parameters list or something else? Drive enable for 0.5 seconds? Does this happen when enabling all drives or a specific drive? I wou...

Re: Problems with Centroid_OAK_Mill_SpinBrake-r2.src

I spoke to the PLC Wizard and we figured out that you are using the wrong PLC program. On Centroid_<BOARD>_Mill_SpinBrake PLC programs OUT9 is spindle brake rather than Z-axis brake. I suggest switching to Centroid_OAK_Mill_Standard PLC and bringing over any modifications you may have made.

Re: Problems with Centroid_OAK_Mill_SpinBrake-r2.src

How do you have the brake wired? You can either control the Z brake from the drive itself or from Oak. We typically suggest controlling from Oak and the stock PLC program you are using supports it by default from OUT9 relay. The corresponding system schematic is S14773 . If, for some reason, you nee...

Re: Acorn6 Pronet E Estun Configuration issues

You may have the parameters on the drive configured incorrectly or it may be a wiring issue or something else entirely. Please post a current report from CNC12 and ideally some pictures of your wiring so we have a better idea of what is going on. I noticed that you used S14966 which is not for Prone...

Re: Spindle not switching on with 4th Axis

Centroid G Code processor accepts ; and : as comments. Using ( ) for comments is not supported. I would expect that to cause some problems when trying to run with a Centroid control.

Re: Cap and Bridge Combo tripping breaker

You most likely have a short somewhere. Does anything else run from that 110VAC secondary?

Re: Hickory X Axis communication In fault with Leadshine EL8

Yes, axis pairing via parameter 64 should work just fine.
I do not believe we have implemented direct ecat communications from the PLC. I can see reasons why but also reasons to not do so.

Re: Hardinge CHNC4 Retrofit

I mean it would not matter if you overwrote it with an identical PLC but in general, yes. I would however update the PLC from time to time in order to make use of new features or get compatibility with new accessories.
